Meet Keeks
Hey, I'm Keeks — a young artist from Vancouver, BC who loves drawing and everything anime. I've been making art from the moment I picked up a crayon. The first thing I ever remember drawing? My mom had a Sailor Moon t-shirt, and I was so curious about it that I sat there and drew it while she was wearing it. That's probably where my love for anime started.

My art is anime-inspired — mostly drawing with Ohuhu alcohol markers (the brush tip and fine tip ones are my favorites), Ohuhu fine liners, and Sakura Gelly Roll pens, plus sometimes digital work in Procreate. My process is simple: headphones on, music blasting, pencil in hand — and I just create. I see something I like, and I start to draw it.
I look up to Aidairo and Studio MAPPA — the artists behind some of my favorite anime.
I draw for fun, and it makes me happy — so I hope that when you get a piece of my art, it makes you happy too. I want my art to feel eye-catching, stylized, and vibrant, and for you to feel connected to it the same way I do.
I was a vendor at my school's Winter craft fair, where I sold stickers, keychains, totes, and art. Sharing my work with the world for the first time made me really proud.
You'll find me reading novels and manga, gaming, watching anime, hanging out with friends, or at Taekwondo. My friends describe me as extroverted, funny, kind — and yes, someone who really likes anime.
